So... Now what? Right, writing the first post. To spare yourself the introductory gibber jabber, Feel free to skip right to the next paragraph :-) My name is Ali and I am a system/network admin from 9 to 6 and a complete geek otherwise, that and being a novice php coder and even do web designs whenever I am inspired. I spend most of my none-work time contributing to the Habari community by designing and writing themes and plugins, testing patches and new features, and sometimes providing support when I can.
Habari is the next generation, open source, free blogging platform. Its robust, extensible, and fully object-oriented code promises a great potentials to be one of (or the) best blogging platforms in the near further. Habari is considered to be in early developement, yet there are already about a dozen public themes and a load of plugins.
This blog is running on top of Habari 0.4, which is, at the time of writing, the latest stable release, it is currently using the default Habari theme, which is lighter version of the famous K2 theme developed for WP. I am hoping to have a new look for this website soon, or even start over and develop a brand new one.
